Evoluzione Billet Aluminum 28.5mm Clutch Slave Cylinder

This is a billet aluminum clutch slave cylinder by Evoluzione Cyclesports. It features "x-ring" seals for even better sealing, a new banjo bleeder bolt and clutch bleeder cup and three separate piston seals to eliminate leakage concerns. It will reduce clutch lever effort by about 20%.

It is a self-contained design with an end seal that prevents damage due to chain grime and the pushrod rides on precision ball bearing to reduce possible galling due to seized clutch bearing.

This item comes in either clear (silver), black, or gold anodized finish as shown. Please choose one.

Preface to review: My 851 sat for 10 months, garaged, prior to getting it running again.
Installed new battery and started the engine. Pulled in clutch lever; no resistance. Noticed reservoir empty. No signs of external leakage. Refilled reservoir, bled system, clutch worked. Question is, where did the fluid go? Maintenance date this week, June, 2011.
Will follow up. E-mail to Evoluzione about problem. Will include their reply.
The reduced lever effort is quite noticeable. Finish is good.
