MWR Air filter kit for the Ducati Desmosedici D16RR. The airbox of this bike is really good, but the filter is another story. The filter is not “inside” the airbox but at the end of the air intake. It is too small for the bike and too close to the exit of the air intake. The result? You have no air presure inside the airbox, but instead in the air intake. Because the filter is so close to the air intake only half the filter surface is used.
With the MWR filter these issues are resolved. MWR built the filter to be inside the airbox so you will attain proper pressure in the airbox. There is more distance between air intake and the filter so the full surface is used and the protection for the engine is increased. The effective surface area of the filter is doubled!

All MWR Air Filters are shipped out pre-oiled and ready to install. Filters should be cleaned and re-oiled with MWR filter cleaner and oil once a year to ensure best performance and the longest filter life. Filters can be washed and oiled up to 25 times.
