MV Agusta F3 MWR Race air filter was designed on the track using race bikes with dataloggers - not on a dyno using estimations. Due to new materials and design, performance has been increased over the standard filter while maintaining the same level of filtration, but for a shorter period of time. The Race filter uses two kinds of foam to create a little HE effect. The two separate filters are mounted in the original location and clamped between the airbox and air intake tubes to create a perfect seal. The stock filter is prone to leaking dirt due to a rubber seal that does not seal completely.
MWR Air Filters are handmade in the Netherlands of top quality materials. Unlike all other foam filters MWR Air Filters are made entirely from special Fire Resistant (FR) foam and use FR biodegradable filter oil, protecting both the environment and your engine.
All MWR Air Filters are shipped out pre-oiled and ready to install. Race filters should be checked every race weekend. Always start the race weekend with a clean and well oiled filter using MWR filter cleaner and oil.
