SpeedyMoto frame sliders are some of the most popular parts we offer. They give you peace of mind that a simple tip over or low speed crash won't necessarily total your motorcycle. We've received tons of positive feedback regarding the design, quality and function of these sliders! If your bike has bodywork and you aren't up for cutting holes in it for the slider to pass through, take a look at the SpeedyMoto under bodywork frame sliders.
SpeedyMoto employs stainless steel for the integral engine nuts and slider support, not unlike the high-strength engine bolts used by Ducati race teams. Corrosion resistant and strain-hardened stainless steel is ideal for the crucial applications of holding your motor in, supporting the entire chassis, and providing a reliable platform for the actual slider.
SpeedyMoto uses High Density Poly Ethylene (HDPE) plastic for the slider puck. Unlike other plastics, the unbelievably low friction coefficient of this plastic makes it practically glide on the pavement. By using this material the risk of grabbing is reduced, avoiding turning a smooth lowside into the dreaded catastrophic highside.

They work great, even in a minor tip over. Great workmanship and material quality.

I bought this item for my Diavel, looks very strong and easy to install. I hope I don't get to test the sliders but it looks steady and classy in my bike. For superior then off the market products, little more expensive then other products but it is worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised after installation to see that aside from now having the piece of mind of additional protection, they gave the Multistrada 1200 a bit more of an "aggressive" look.

I hope I never have to use them but if I ever do they look like they will hold up! Installation was pretty easy and as mentioned WATCH FOR THAT ENGENE DROP! Overall they look great and I will defiantly get the other wheel sliders!

The HDPE sliders are well made with snazzy red text. The rod appears to be well made, almost precision ground. The installation is very simple and the only advice I can offer is to use a jackstand with a soft pad to prevent the engine from dropping down as you remove the stock factory bolt. Follow the torque procedures in the Speedymoto instructions. My factory service guide said 60 N-m, Speedymoto says 50 N-m. The factory guide said to use GREASE B, or a moly disulfide base grease, but the instructions say to use threadlocker. What I ended up doing was use a bit of grease underneath the SS supporting nuts, but followed the Speedymoto instructions.

I just purchased these. I had never seen this brand prior to buying them so I did not know what to expect. I will tell you that these sliders are built very well. Very easy installation too.

These are by far the best sliders I have ever used on any motorcycle. I recently bought a brand new 2011 M796. I put these on within the first week. At 2288 miles I was run off of the road by a large truck. The bike traveled approx. 35 feet on its right side. The slider held up beautifully. Not a single crack. The engine case, frame, etc.. were un-touched. Note I did have the longer pucks installed. I was so impressed with these sliders that I am ordering the front and rear sets as well. A $150 dollar kit saved me well over $1000 in parts alone.
