| This item is the Lightweight Pro clutch from Wagner Lewis. This item is a high-test replacement for your six-speed, dry Ducati clutch. It is NOT a slipper clutch (see below). The unique, patent-pending stabilizer plate in the Wagner Lewis Lightweight Pro clutch is the key to a clutch that works better and for longer. The CNC machined stabilizer plate, in conjuction with other precision components, allows your dry clutch to function perfectly while also preventing the clutch plates from hammering the basket. The benefits to you is better feel and longer life regardless of how hard you use it or how much you slip it. The WL clutch features: Precision CNC machined from 7075 billet Type 3 hard anodized in color with satin finish Teflon coating on basket and hub, double disc ground alloy steels CNC machined alloy plates with kevlar racing friction material Is entirely made in California, USA, leveraging the area's strong aerospace industry Includes skf bearing, push rod button, stainless allens, hardened and ground spacer and shim, hardened and machined nut and Bellville washer. Why isn't the Wagner Lewis Lightweight Pro clutch a slipper clutch? Even though most Ducati models are sold with non-slipper clutches, many aftermarket/replacement clutches are slipper-type. The lightweight alloy baskets typically found in new Ducatis and in the aftermarket only last a few thousand miles compared to the also relatively short lived stock steel and aftermarket ones.
